Moving our students forward with a technology-based 21st-century education, Samuel C. Mumford High School is striving for academic excellence. With our new state-of-the-art facility and personalized learning programs for each student, we’re rewriting the book on educating our future citizens.
At Mumford, we pride ourselves in providing a clean and safe environment that engages students, teachers and staff. And while everything that we’ve implemented is rooted in the data about student learning, our number one goal remains the same ¾ to educate our students and get them college- and workplace-ready.
In fall of 2012, we reopened our doors after a $50.3 million rebirth from the ground up. Our school is now a LEED Silver Certified building and features a high-tech media center, a two-story glass wall common area, modern science laboratories, athletics and performing arts wings, and a community health clinic.
